CHF in New York
Simon Hall, Francis Fitzpatrick and Adrian Wilkins are attending the Kidscreen Summit 2013, sharing the positive developments on Pip! and HeroGliffix with a worldwide audience.
The launch of CHF Entertainment will be the toast of the party when Little Airplane Productions throw open their South Street Seaport doors to host their famous party for all Summit-goers.
The Kidscreen Summit is the kid’s entertainment industry’s biggest gathering of the year. A unique opportunity to engage in dialogue on issues that affect the industry and to recognise and understand current market needs and opportunities. The conference attracts content creators, producers, distributors, broadcasters, digital media operatives, licensing professionals and marketers working on intellectual properties for children.
The Keynote this year is from Writer and Co-Executive Producer of The Simpsons, Joel Cohen, with a presentation entitled ‘The Tao of Homer: Lessons in Creativity and Innovation from The Simpsons’. Also of note, Amazon made major moves into content in 2012, setting up a development & production hub and putting out an open call for kids’ series proposals. With a preschool show already in the pipeline, there’s an opportunity to meet the team behind the push.
